Chevy Camaro owner wanted by police for doing donuts on a highway

I think we all agree that doing burnouts and donuts in cars are all fun as long as they are in a safe manner. In an abandoned parking lot or on the drag strip it’s better to smoke tires than smoke drugs. Although in some areas street takeovers are becoming a problem. They usually stop traffic to do stunts which can can be dangerous for everyone involved.

In Detroit a group called TSNLS recorded a video a Chevy Camaro doing donuts on Michigan‘s Interstate 94. You can see that traffic has been completely stopped. The car starts doing donuts on the road as onlookers stand close by. Other drivers were completely stopped which prompted them to call 911.

Unfortunately TSNLS was long gone before the cops arrived. Stunts like this are reckless and dangerous. Not only do they not car for themselves but have little care for those around them. What if an ambulance was stopped because of these shenanigans?

Detroit Police Chief James Craig said,

We are not going to tolerate this blatant disregard for public safety in our city.

The person who uploaded the video blocked the driver’s face and the license plate but it’s a matter of time before police track them down. How do you feel about street takeovers? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
