In St. Louis Missouri thieves tried to steal a car from a crime scene. Three people are said to be in custody. Firstly police tried to pull a woman over. Instead of stopping she sped off and led police on a pursuit. She was chased into the city where she jumped out of the moving vehicle and ran away.
The car continued to move until it crashed into a nearby neighborhood. As police were taking the woman into custody an SUV pulled up to the crashed vehicle. The passenger of the SUV jumped out of his ride and tried to steal the crashed vehicle right in front of police.
Police apprehended the passenger of the SUV and the driver. Velda City police stated that the woman was on probation and didn’t want to go to jail.
At the police station instead of phoning someone to come pay their bail the 2 occupants of the SUV called to their family members about how they tried to steal a car right in front of police. All 3 are expected to face charges. Police couldn’t believe that Thieves tried to steal a car from a crime scene. Guess this is one for the books.
