For recently recalled some of their Ford F150s due to issues with the windshield. In the event of a crash the windshield could separate from the car causing injuries. 79,017 vehicles in the US, 6,986 in Canada and, 1,347 in Mexico are affected.
This includes 2021 Ford F-150 vehicles built at Dearborn Truck Plant from 10-27-2020, to 2-3-2021 and 2020-21 Ford Super Duty vehicles built at Kentucky Truck Plant from 10-13-2020, to 1-23- 2021. Ford says that some of the adhesion for the windshield wasn’t installed properly.
There have been no known accidents due to the defect. All of the owners affected by the recall should be notified by mail. Dealers will reinstall the windshield and repair the issue. Do you own a new Ford 150? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
