Are you a fan of the Ford Bronco? While the original remains one of the most iconic of Ford’s SUVs the new Bronco is on it’s way to dealerships all around the country. While the Bronco will only come with a turbocharged 6 cylinder the guys over at Hennessey Performance want to drop a v8engine in it.
The upgrade would include adding Ford’s 5.0L v8 paired with a supercharger. The transmission that mounts to the engine would be Ford’s 10-speed automatic. With the upgrade the vehicle would be making more than twice the power at 750hp.
At the price of $225,000 you get the engine upgrade, an air-to-water intercooler, upgraded fuel system, exhaust and a new hood with a functional scoop. In addtion there are some LED lights and upgraded suspension parts plus a new wheel and tire combo.
John Hennessey who is CEO of Hennessey performance said,
Over the past two years, we have built over 70 Gen 2 Ford Raptors for our customers by removing the EcoBoost V6 and replacing it with the same 750 HP supercharged 5.0 V8. I wanted to build the ultimate Ford Bronco for myself and for our customers,
