It’s not every day that you find someone breaking into your property. A 65-year old Florida woman, Clarese Gainey, woke to the sound of someone outside. When she looked outside her window she saw 5’6, 300 pound Antonio Mosely pulling on her car door. He was only in his boxers. Gainey decided that she was going to deal with the man herself.
What Antonio didn’t know was that Gainey use to be a softball player. “I grab my bat, I brace myself, and I ease the door open,” said Gainey. “I took that bat and hit him up side the head like ‘Pi-yaaaah!’ He said ‘Owww!'”
Antonio took off running towards a nearby trailer park. Police later tracked Antonio down using their K-9 unit. Fortunately for everyone else he had acquired new pants. Unfortunately for him there was cocaine located in his pocket.
Antonio is in the Alachua County Jail for two counts of burglary and drug possession.
