15 years after production stopped of the Maserati MC12 they have unveiled their new MC20 supercar. The MC12 is easily one the most famous supercars. Only 50 cars were produced.
The MC12 had a 6.0L V12 producing 630hp. Their newest supercar which is named the MC20 makes 621hp out of a twin turbo V6. The MC20 only weighs 3300lb so it has an amazing power to weight ratio.
The chassis is made of a forged carbon fiber. In addition the new Maserati supercar has carbon fiber pieces all over the car. The interior is lined with alcantara and the cluster and radio are all digital.
Overall the interior looks clean and simple. The engine has patented F1 features which allow combustion outside of the cylinder. This allows the engine to make great power when you need it while staying quiet when you want to just cruise around.
In recent years Maserati has had it’s engines made by Ferrari. With the new MC20 everything is made in house in Modena Italy. If you are wanting to get your hands on the new Maserati MC20 supercar it’s going to cost you around $210,000.
