People get caught speeding all of the time. Some will just accept the ticket and pay it. Although some drivers like to come up with excuses as to why they were speeding. They hope to get out of a ticket if they have a good enough reason. Some excuses are more believable than others.
One man in London was doing 125mph on the M25 road in London, United Kingdom. He was stopped by an officer and questioned. The man stated,
I thought the faster I went the less chance I would catch coronavirus
