Sometimes we underestimate the sheer force of nature. I’m sure this man as a newfound respect for it, especially lightning. He was sitting at a light when lightning struck a nearby poll and traveled 300 ft to his truck. The truck quickly caught fire.
A nearby Waffle House employee who witness the accident said, “It was in flame for a few minutes and then while I was on the phone I was like ‘it’s fixing to blow up’ and it did.”
