We have written a few posts about the Youtuber Whistlin Diesel. He’s known for doing some exotic stunts like driving on the road in a truck with paddle tires or driving his truck through the gulf of Mexico. That being said not much of what he does surprises us anymore. Granted he always provides entertaining content.
Although recently he had a near-death experience. Whistinlin Diesel, otherwise know as Cody Detweiler, was shooting a rifle at some metal plates. He was only 4 feet away when a bullet ricocheted and hit him in the forehead. From the graphic photos below you can see it left quite the hole in his head.
Lucky for Cody the bullet didn’t penetrate his skull. Although he is still getting some scans performed to make sure there isn’t any interior damage. You can see the aftermath of Whistlin Diesel getting shot in the head.
In the Instagram post Cody states, “I got hit with a .50 cal bullet ricochet from 4ft away right into my forehead. I’m ok they’re just doing some scans to make sure I don’t have swelling other than the 2” lump on my forehead and the copper jacket under my skin”
This could have been much worse so we’re glad he’s ok. This should be a good reminder to anyone tobe careful especially when handling firearms.
