Man tries to save his sinking Waveboat with a Jeep Wrangler

A day on the lake can be an exciting experience. If you own or rent a boat you can sail around and enjoy yourself. Although boating sometimes comes with some issues. You see videos all the time with boat launching fails.

This story is one of those fails. A boat owner had launched his Parvati’s AL26 boat at the the Cedar Indian Lake. Sometime after the boat was on the water it began to sink. It’s not known if there was a faulty intake hose or a missing plug.

The owner of the boat did not want to lose his investment. He therefore devised a plan to save the boat. He got his wife’s $50,000 Jeep Wrangler, drove into the water and tried to somehow drag the boat out. Let us mention that the deepest portion of the lake is 13.5 feet.

The Jeep ended up getting stuck. We wouldn’t be surprised if it was hydro locked. The owner then tried to save both the Jeep and the boat by pulling them out with his Ford Raptor.

As you can probably gather the $60,000 Ford Raptor got stranded. It isn’t quite clear how they managed to get the vehicles out of the water. Although the owner’s quiet day at the lake turned an expensive $400,000 one.

How would you have rescued the boat out of the water? Let us know in the comments below.
