Ford recalls 38,000 2020 Mustangs because the brakes might break

Imaging this, you’re traveling at a brisk 75MPH on the highway and you’re near your exit. You start pressing brakes and instead of your car coming to a stop your break pedal snaps.

Well Ford recently recalled some 2020 Mustangs for this reason. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), if a driver were to slam on the brakes there is a possibility that the brake pedal might fracture at the pivot point.

This in turn would make it very difficult to stop. There were three reports of the bracket failing which prompted Ford to investigate. Luckily no injuries or crashes have been reported.

A letter will be mailed to the owners of the affected vehicles. Do you own a 2020 Mustang? Have you been affected by this recall? Let us know your thoughts below.
