A dump truck pushed a Mini Cooper a quarter mile down a highway

It’s pretty well known that dump trucks don’t have the best visibility. If your car is small enough they may not even see you over the hood of their truck. In instances where people cut off dump trucks, it’s surprising to know that these accidents don’t happen more often.

One owner of a Mini Cooper had a wild ride down one Toronto highway. It isn’t clear how the car got stuck in front of the truck but they were dragged a quarter of a mile on an on-ramp and onto the Gardiner Expressway. The driver of the Mini suffered minor injuries. Police say the truck driver was charged.
